Pay Transparency Act Legal Seminar – Free to RCABC Members

The BC Government passed the Pay Transparency Act in 2023, creating new requirements for employers in public job postings, and imposing new restrictions on employers. RCABC and the Electrical Contractors Association of BC are teaming up to provide our members with a free educational session led by Harris and Co’s Abigail Cheung on the Act and what it means for employers.

About the Presenter:
Abigail Cheung is a lawyer at Harris & Company LLP, one of Western Canada’s largest workplace law and advocacy firms. Her practice focuses on labour, human rights and employment law. Abigail offers practical, strategic advice to employers to help them build and shape workplace culture. She applies her creativity and problem-solving abilities to resolve workplace disputes.
Abigail has written about, presented on and been interviewed about BC’s new pay transparency legislation and looks forward to sharing her views on best practices for employers to comply with and implement these rules.
